Christine told me that she envisioned her and Andrew’s wedding day being very simple and romantic. “We love the elegance of the venue and quaintness of the ceremony area.” They got married under a large oak tree and had their reception on the terrace with elements of a beautiful garden with all the added greenery on the tables. Having no wedding party the day was really laid back and made all the focus towards the couple and their union. We got to relax when it came to portraits and capture all the amazing details that this couple had.

They got married at 10:30 in the morning and held a brunch style reception complete with DIY mimosas, chicken-n-waffles and a morning paper with fun articles about the couple and a fun wedding day crossword puzzle! Before the ceremony Christine has first looks with both her Dad and her soon to be husband, both of those made me smile and get teary eyed. I think one of my favorite moments (other then the epic portraits we got) was when Andrew’s band played a set and Mighty Mongo gained two new fans (me and my second shooter)!
